Who We Are

FC Inter London is the UK's largest Ukrainian youth football club, proudly based in London since 2022. We are more than just a football club – we are a supportive community dedicated to helping young Ukrainian players grow, heal, and succeed both on and off the pitch.

Our story
Our journey began during one of Ukraine’s darkest hours. In early 2022, as war forced thousands of families to flee their homeland, a vision was born at UCFB University’s Wembley Campus. Founded by Andrian Selivestru alongside renowned football business experts Dr. Nick Wilde, Dr. Andy Golding, and Mr. Nick Walton, FC Inter London started as a charity project with a clear purpose: to help Ukrainian children find stability and joy through football.
After winning £12,000 through a university startup competition, what began with just 12 children has grown into a thriving organisation with over 95 registered players across three branches in East London, North London, and Brighton. We have built strong partnerships with professional clubs including Charlton Athletic Community Trust, Leyton Orient Trust, and Chelsea FC Academy, creating genuine pathways for our young players.
Our Mission
At FC Inter London, our mission is to develop and inspire the next generation of Ukrainian youth footballers by providing elite-level training and opportunities in London. As the UK’s largest Ukrainian youth football club, we are committed to fostering talent, unity, and cultural pride — striving to compete at the highest level whilst supporting our players' successful integration into British society.
Our Values - INTER
INCLUSIVE
We welcome every child, regardless of their previous football experience. Whilst many clubs select only their strongest players, we believe every Ukrainian child deserves the opportunity to play, learn, and belong.
We prioritise the person before the player, focusing on developing well-rounded individuals with strong character, resilience, and the life skills needed beyond football.
NURTURING
TEAMWORK
We build a strong Ukrainian community where children from different cities can find friendship, support, and a sense of belonging. Our players often discover neighbours from back home and form bonds that extend far beyond the football pitch.
We provide equal playing time and opportunities for all players to develop confidence, leadership skills, and the ability to perform under pressure – qualities that will serve them throughout their lives.
EMPOWERING
RESPECTFUL
We maintain high standards of conduct, teaching our players the importance of discipline, fair play, and respect for teammates, opponents, and officials alike.

Our Approach
At FC Inter London, we believe football is the universal language that helps young people adapt to life in a new country. Whilst our most talented players may progress to professional academies, we focus primarily on social and psychological development for all our children.
We provide:
  • Professional coaching delivered in Ukrainian, ensuring clear communication between coaches and players
  • Equal opportunities for all skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced players
  • Safe, supportive environment where Ukrainian children can maintain their cultural identity
  • Clear pathways to higher-level competition for those ready to progress
  • Strong relationships with parents and families, recognising their vital role in each child's development
Our coaches aren't just instructors – they're mentors and role models who understand the unique challenges facing Ukrainian families in the UK. We maintain strict safeguarding policies and ensure all staff share our commitment to putting children's wellbeing first.

Looking Forward
FC Inter London continues to grow and evolve. We organise summer camps, educational trips, and community events that strengthen the bonds between our families. Our goal is to compete in the Junior Premier League — the highest level for youth football outside professional academies — whilst never losing sight of our core mission: helping Ukrainian children find joy, friendship, and belonging through football.
